Wild Atlantic Way

Inishowen, the jewel of Donegal, is a land of untamed beauty where rugged cliffs meet the vast Atlantic, golden beaches stretch endlessly, and rolling green hills are dotted with charming villages. The wild landscapes of Malin Head, Ireland’s northernmost point, offer breathtaking views, while serene spots like Mamore Gap and the Isle of Doagh captivate with their tranquil allure. Rich in history, culture, and natural wonder, Inishowen is a place where the raw power of nature meets timeless charm, making it a paradise for explorers, dreamers, and lovers of the great outdoors.

Carrig Cnoc House

Built in 1878 and recently refurbished, the yoga studio is part of this majestic house. Carrig Cnoc House (also known as St. Michael's) is situated right on the beach and not overlooked by another property; it truly is one of the most beautiful locations on the island of Ireland. Many poets, artists, songwriters, and even politicians have stayed and been inspired by the magic of the house.

The Area

Shroove (or Stroove as some strange people call it) has many delightful hidden beaches and some not so hidden like the beautiful beach at the Lighhouse just a short walk away. There are many pubs like Sean Ti's and Mickey John's and the famous (and best pizzas ever) in Rosattos in Moville. We have our brand new Sultan's Castle original Indian cuisine set beside the old castle. The Maritime museum in the village recalls the area's historical past during many wars and the Famine. We have the lovely 18 hole Greencastle golf course overlooking Lough Foyle, boat trips and horse riding are all within a five minute drive. Once you come here you will never forget the warmth of the people and the beauty of the area.
